Welcome  to the Palm Harbor Fred Astaire Dance Studio The Palm Harbor Fred Astaire Dance Studios staff is made entirely of full-time, certified, professional dance instructors. They feel that the best lessons are taught by instructors who spend their days training to teach better dance lessons and working on their own dancing. With this in mind, all dance instructors are tested regularly by the Fred Astaire National Council of Dance. All certifications must meet high standards; passing is not good enough. All instructors must receive Highly Commended marks in their dance tests.    Fletcher Elliott  Director and President of the Palm Harbor Fred Astaire Dance Studio. Fletcher is the directors of the Palm Harbor Fred Astaire Dance Studio. He has been teaching and bringing the magic of dance for over 29 years. Now retired from professional competition, he can focus on passing his vast knowledge to his staff and students so they too can achieve the many benefits of dancing. Fletcher has received many awards from 3-time top Eagle Award to 4-time Manager of the Year and many, many dance competition awards. But the awards he is most proud of are the ones his staff and students have received under his instruction. Fletcher has been a national speaker, regional dance director and has choreographed many award winning shows. He is truly a “dancer's” dancer and will always be an ambassador of Fred Astaire Dance Studios.   Nancy Dix - Manager Nancy was a student for 5 years at Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Huntsville, Alabama. She excelled so well that she was invited to become a professional over 20 years ago. Not only is Nancy a master instructor but has managed and owned studios from Alabama, Oregon and Tennessee. In the beginning, she strted ballet at 3 years old. Nancy went to a Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Huntsville to take an introductory dance special and 20 years later she is here at the Palm Harbor Studio as their Manager. Nancy loves to rhinestone competitive costumes, shoes, shirts and jackets. She also enjoys embroidery, playing piano and of course her first love Dance!!!! Nancy's sweet charm and her attention to customer service is second to none. Nancy will make sure your experience here at the Palm Harbor Studio is fantastic from start to finish!!!!  JJ Harrison - Instructor JJ was born in the rugged Northwest of Alaska. At an early age he moved down to sunny California where he spent most of his childhood. Growing up in the country of small town awarded him the opportunity of enjoying many outdoor activities such as hiking, back packing, mountain biking, kayaking, 4-wheeling, and fishing. He moved to Florida several years ago for a new adventure as a dance instructor. JJ has been with the Palm Harbor Studio for 4 years and has become one of the top instructors in the organization. He loves to teach and is an active professional competitor. When he first started in the business, he competed in his first professional competition and took first place. JJ’s up beat and irresistible personality makes him an excellent teacher.   Emily Dudash - Instructor  Emily was born in Naples Florida where she spent her early childhood studying ballet. She began training in ballroom at eight years old and continued through high school where she also particpated in the school's dance line. Emily has spent years performing and competing in jazz, hip hop and balloroom. At a National competition she won top solo and top junior. Emily has studied many genres of dance, but her passion is Ballroon where she continues to strive for success and perfection. Emily looks forward to sharing her passion for dance by teaching and competing professionally   Tiffany Jensen - Instructor Tiffany came to the sunshine stateonly 3 years ago.Originally from Ohio, Tiffany has studied modeling and acting since thirteen years old. In 2005 she competed in the International Model and Talent Convention in New York in acting, modeling & singing. She won the International Barbizon actress of the year award and recieved a scholarship to the New York Acting Academy. Deciding to pursue different areas of Entertainment, she fell into radio in Ohio and worked as an on air radio personality for a year. Still wanting to learn different areas of entertainment, Tiffany moved to Florida after graduating College at Georgia Southern University to persue her sing and further her DJ career from radio by creating a mobile DJ business and singing with a local band. Tiffany is thrilled to be apart of the Palm Harbor Team were she can use all of her talents on the dance floor. Her passion for the arts, vast knowledge and experiences make Tiffany and excellent teacher. Tiffany is a true rising star in the dance world and will soon be a top professional competitor.   Joshua Sulesky - Instructor Josh was born and raised in West Virginia then moved to Florida 10 years ago. He has extensive experience and interest in a variety of arts ranging from piano, percussion, choir and theater. He is excited to be able to utilize his skills in teaching people how to dance and for his students to learn rythm, movement and expression. Josh's enthusiam and zest for life make him a inspiring Instructor.
