Palm Harbor Fred Astaire Dance Studios staff is made entirely of full-time, certified, professional dance instructors. They feel that the best lessons are taught by instructors who spend their days training to teach better dance lessons and working on their own dancing. With this in mind, all dance instructors are tested regularly by the Fred Astaire National Council of Dance. All certifications must meet high standards; passing is not good enough. Kelsey Koehler:Kelsey has been dancing all of her life, from the age 2 -13 she studied Tap, Ballet, Jazz & Gymnastics and competed on a national level for 6 years. A star Cheerleader and Choreographer from age 13 to 20 She was searching for a way to let her own style shine. Now that she is with Fred Astaire Dance Studio Kelsey has found her passion in dance and is working to compete on a National level Martin Mata: Martin found his passion in life, Dance!!!!! He started as a Varsity Cheerleader and received the Allstar Award. Then he went on to Santa Fe College on a performing Arts Scholarship and continued his dance studies at the Dance Institute in Gainsville, Florida. He has studied & performed with various renowned dance companies like David Parson company at University of Florida, Shapiro & Smith company at University of Florida, Maximum Dance Company and Master Dance class with Antonlino Alvarez. Now that Martin has found Ballroom and Latin dancing at Fred Astaire Dance studios he knows that he will have a lustrous career and continue his passion in life.
Beatrice Lopez
Beatrice Lopez has been dancing her whole life. She has been dancing Ballet, Jazz and Hip-Hop for 5 years. She has also dance and performed in many plays like “The Wizard of Oz” and was the lead role in a musical called “Once on this Island”. Her love for life fuels her passion for ballroom dancing.
Joe Clement
Joseph Ryan Clement Started entertaining people at the early age of 7 years old through dancing, and the rhythm of music has been running through his veins since. Accepting nothing less than perfect, he works on becoming a smooth and rhythm champion through his own determination and the help of his mentors. Originally from New Jersey, Joseph looks forward to teaching students and sharing with them all his knowledge and giving them the true experience that dancing has to offer.
